PU-ROLL

Ref. DUS-217CD PU-ROLL is made of TPU and can get the bonding property by heating,
so it can be applied on the fabric such as Nylon, Polyester, Cotton etc. by a heat press machine easily.
However, PU-ROLL before heating is not sticky, so you can punch or cut and keep them in stock.
And, it excels in abrasion resistance and can be used for the several reinforcement purpose, such as knee, shoulder,
elbow pads or logos etc., and you can also put your own pattern
on the surface under the condition that sheet is in hot and melted upon heating.

■Characteristics
You can apply them by a heat press machine easily. PU-ROLL itself is not sticky,
so you can cut and keep them in stock easily.
It excels environmentally as it can be dissolved and welded by heat.

■Directions for use

  • As was mentioned above, our simple PU-ROLL may be easily welded onto a variety of fabrics. However, note the following to ensure the better results.
  • Welding temperature indicates the one needed to dissolve the welding adhesive on the PU.
It is important to implement a test in advance as welding pressure and time may vary depending upon structure of a welded material (i.e. whether it is nonporous like membrane or porous like cloth surface).
  • Materials coated by silicon or acrylic resin, or hairy pile may not be strongly welded.
  • PU may stick on the upper heat plate, so we suggest to put a Teflon (or Silicone) sheet on the PU at an application by heat pressing.
